A partnership created by two caring people whose goal is to provide to our community a place to get freshly baked artisan goods, sandwiches, salads and soups.
Our mission is simple: source the freshest grown and sustainable products to create delicious, affordable foods and beverages that guests will want to return for week after week.
The bakery building, which was originally built in 1915 as an Insurance, Real Estate and Abstract Business by a local resident. Around the early 30's it became the first post office in Lake City and remained that way until the early 60's when it relocated right behind the bakery. After the post office relocated the building had several other tendents but laid vacant for the last 10 years (2010-2020). The summer of 2020 the Sigsbey's poured their heart and souls into restoring the building back to its former glory. Giving the interior a vintage, industrial meets nature vibe in the dining room.
The bakery prides itself on sourcing its ingredients as close to home as possible working with around a dozen different local farmers to get the freshest ingredients possible. The menu at the peak of harvest season is around 90% sourced from the local area!
