Spring has officially sprung and that means it is time to hit the farmers markets! Southeast Michigan boasst a large number of farmers markets and 15 of these are in Washtenaw County. The first Wednesday of every month (May-Oct 5-8 pm) are food truck rallies and the third Wednesday of every month features Guest Chef Cooking Demos (May-Oct 11am).

Now offering an online sales pilot program for the May 17 Farmers Market. Customers can shop online at www.pittsfieldtownship.locallygrown.net during the May 13-14 and pick-up their order at the May 17 Farmers Market. Items available include: prepared foods (soups, salads, meals), honey, asparagus, soy candles, garlic, skin care & personal care products, baked goods, nut butters, pasta, energy snacks, spice blends, marinara sauce and more.
Webster Summer Social will be held June, 24 from 12 – 5 P.M. There will be live music, historical demonstrations, a local food truck, ice cream, games, raffle and other activities
